Darcy helped us to find our new apartment, which had to be in the Deep-Cove / Dollarton area because that was where our son was going to school.  We found her to be not only extremely competent in every aspect of her job as a realtor, but also a very caring and honest person who took our interest at heart.  We never expected such level of professional and personal integrity in a field better known for the multiple risks involved in terms of misinformation and the temptations of easy money.  For example, Darcy advised us against buying an apartment we liked because of potential leaking problems that previous realtors simply ignored to make their job more expedite.  Stimulated by her contagious enthusiasm, we just started our search again until we found with her help a place that has only been growing in our esteem since we bought it.  In brief, it was an uplifting experience we thought it was worth sharing with others.

We came to know Darcy when we bought our first home in North Vancouver in February 1997. From the first time we met, we found her to be straightforward, professional,but most of all, caring. In the summer of 2004, we decided to sell our house, which we had lived in and loved for seven years, to move into a bigger place. We knew that Darcy was actively working in our area (Dollarton- Deep Cove). However, as well as Darcy, we invited 2 other well known agents to also make a presentation to us. At the end of the meetings, it was a no-brainer, and we chose Darcy to be our agent. Darcy and her team were very good about attending and advertising the weekend Open Homes. With the market having slowed-down, Darcy had no hesitation in giving our home the most exposure that is possible, by advertising our house on the front/ back pages of the North Shore Real Estate paper. We really felt that she was committed to selling our house. As it turned out, she was, and she did sell our house, at a very good price, and within our desired timeframe. It may sound like a cliche, but Darcy treated our 'sell' with the highest level of attention and care. She treated it as though it was the only one she was working on (but we well knew it was not). We never felt we were just another transaction in her books. In summary, Darcy is a very honest, caring and personable real estate professional. When it comes to either buying or selling your house, we can recommend Darcy as someone who can be trusted to do the best job possible, for you.
